Cabbage Crochet Amigurumi - FREE Pattern.

For the past couple of days, here in Acton, Ontario (GTA) we've been getting snow in the middle of May! It's quite absurd. We built 4 flower beds in our garden last month; and we have been anticipating to start transplanting some veggies and herbs out there. Instead, we started seeds indoor and now our house is almost covered in plants! The squash and beans are getting out of hand! Well, with all this talk about gardening - it inspired me to create this vegetable crochet amigurumi. Below you will find the free pattern to creating this cute little cabbage amigurumi. This is also being used for my day 12 #amigurumay #instagramchallenge - Food -

Abbreviations:

Ch = Chain

Inc = Increase

InvDec = Invisible Decrease

Sc = Single Crochet

Dc = Double Crochet

Slst = Slip stitch

St(s) = Stitch(es)

F/O = Fasten off

[repeat everything within brackets]

Pattern Notes: this is a very simple pattern that can be worked up in a couple of hours. Note, do not sew the leaves on in a dark dimmed place; otherwise you'll have a lopsided cabbage; like mine. Oops! The cabbage amigurumi works out to be approximately 6 x 4" (15 x 10 cm). The pattern is created with a sphere in the middle, and 6 additional circular leaves crocheted around the sphere.
