Peppa Pig Rainboots and Bow FREE Crochet Pattern

Updated: Jun 16

My baby at the age of 3 months had the chance to meet Peppa Pig and she fell in love with her. I'm not sure if it's the contrast colours in the eyes, or her bright red dress, but my baby can recognize Peppa Pig anywhere! From TV, to books and now to dolls! I love how the episodes are always short and sweet and the different cute animals in it.

So, I created this Peppa Pig Amigurumi Crochet Pattern that is now available in my store and on Ravelry.

In addition, I also decided to crochet some accessories that I would like to share with the Peppa Pig fans in the world! If you watch the cartoon, you'll know that one of the Peppa's favourite thing to do is to jump in muddy puddles! But she can't jump into muddy puddles without her, yellow, rain boots! The following FREE Crochet Pattern will teach you how to make a baby size (6 months) yellow rain boot! (Sorry that this pattern is beta; that's simply because I'm not 100% pleased with it). You will also find a FREE Crochet pattern for the Peppa Pig inspired bow headband further down. Pep-pa Pig!

Since, I wasn't super thrilled with how the pattern is written and in most cases, I'm going to have a Version 2 of these booties - I've decided to share with you my Peppa Pig inspired crochet bow headband.

Materials & Yarn:

Lily Sugar n’ Cream Solid Cotton (Worsted): Rose Pink and Red (<119 yds/109m) - Click here to get 15% off your purchase off with LoveCraft!

Crochet Hook Size: 4.0 mm

Sewing Needle

Buttons

Ch21, and sc into the 2nd st and all across. Turn. Ch1.

Sc all across (20). Repeat this until you have approximately 2" (5cm) in height. This is approximately 6 rows. F/O and weave in.

Pinch the middle of the piece, and tie a contrast colour yarn in the middle.

Hold onto the headband, and wrap the yarn around the headband and the bow multiple times, until you are satisfied with the way it looks. Use a crochet hook to pull through the yarn underneath the wrapped part a couple of times. Cut loose ends.

These accessories are great for everyday dress up or for a special themed birthday party! If you would like to purchase a set, you can find them here on my Etsy store. Thank you for stopping by!
